Instagram Video Downloader
Reels, feed videos and photo posts, saved as the files Instagram serves — an MP4 for video, a full-size JPG for photos.
Reels, feed videos and photos
- Reels and feed videos as MP4, at the resolution the post was uploaded in.
- Photo posts as a JPG at the size Instagram stores, not a screenshot of the feed.
- Carousels are exposed one item at a time; each photo or video in the post gets its own entry in the list.
- Audio only as MP3 when you want the sound without the picture.
How to save an Instagram Reel
- Open the post, tap the three dots and choose Copy link — or copy the address from your browser.
- Paste it above and press Grab.
- Pick the entry you want and save. For a carousel, each item is listed separately.
Why Instagram sometimes lists one file only
Instagram often splits a video into a picture stream and a sound stream. The list only offers finished files, so on those posts you see a single video entry (the platform's own progressive file) rather than a ladder of resolutions. That is the same file Instagram plays in the app.
What does not work
- Private accounts. Nothing behind a login can be reached; the tool never signs in.
- Stories and highlights are not public posts and are not supported.
- Deleted posts. Once Instagram stops serving the media, there is nothing to download.
Frequently asked questions
Can I download Instagram photos, not just videos?
Yes. Paste the link to a public photo post and choose the entry marked Photo. You get the full-size JPG the post serves, not a screenshot.
Does this work with private Instagram accounts?
No. Private posts require a logged-in session, and this tool never asks for or uses Instagram credentials.
How do I download every image in a carousel?
Each item in the post is listed as its own entry, so you can save them one by one. There is no zip of the whole carousel.
